    Monday: 8:00am - 7:00pm Tuesday: 8:00am - 7:00pm Wednesday: 8:00am - 7:00pm Thursday: 8:00am - 7:00pm Friday: 8:00am - 4:00pm *Please note that our front desk is staffed and answers live phones until 5:00pm Monday-Thursday. • When is PCS Closed?
PCS is closed on weekends and on New Years Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
  • Do I need a referral to be seen at your clinic?
You do not need a referral to be seen at our clinic unless your insurance requires it. It is your responsibility to obtain a referral from your primary care physician if required by your insurance carrier.
  • How can I make an appointment?
Simply call the main phone line at 763-559-7050 to speak with our staff to set up an appointment or complete our online request form. Once you request to be seen, you will be matched with a qualified provider to meet your needs.
  • What will happen at my first appointment?
The first appointment is referred to as the "intake appointment". At this first appointment, your provider will ask you many questions to gain insight about your current goals and needs. These questions may inquire about the types of problems you are experiencing, your personal and family history, and medical history. You will then develop a "treatment plan" with your provider, which serves as a baseline for measuring your progress in treatment.
  • What are limits on confidentiality for children and adolescents in therapy?
To best support your children and teens, it is PCS policy to maintain confidentiality during therapy. Parents and guardians do have the right to general information about therapy, but confidentiality will be maintained unless children or others are in any danger. If this situation comes up, the therapist will discuss it with the child or adolescent first before talking to the parents or guardians.
  • Will I get a reminder for my appointments?
If you provide a mobile number, you can receive a text message prior to every scheduled appointment. Please note that this is a courtesy, and all patients are responsible for remembering and cancelling their appointments per the cancellation policy.
  • What is the appointment cancellation policy?
If you cancel an appointment and do not provide at least 24 hours notice or do not show up to your appointment, you will be charged the full amount of your appointment. It is not eligible for submission to insurance. This policy is designed to protect our providers' time, not to penalize our clients financially. When an appointment is made with one of our providers, that time is booked and is no longer available for scheduling. Late cancellation and no show appointments are rarely filled due to lack of advance notice and result in a loss of our providers' time. Payment for late cancel or no show appointments is to be made before the next regularly scheduled appointment. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late for your appointment time, you may be rescheduled in order to meet the needs of those who are on time. A missed appointment fee will be charged.
  • How do I cancel my appointment?
There are two ways to cancel an appointment. You can call in or email our front desk staff at least 24 hours prior to the appointment. Email: info@pcsmn.com Call: 763-559-7050
  • What if I have to cancel after office hours or during the weekend?
No problem! Voicemails are date and time-stamped, so as long as you leave the message or send the email (24 hours before your scheduled appointment) you will not be assessed a cancellation fee.

  • What is the typical cost for neuropsychological testing at your clinic?
The typical range that is billed to insurance is $2,500 - $4,000. This will vary due to the length of testing required. The length of the neuropsychological evaluation is dependent upon case complexity, the child’s age, and their level of cooperation with testing procedures. School-aged children typically require 10-14 hours for interview, direct testing, scoring, interpretation, verbal review of findings, and development of the written report. The final amount you owe depends on your insurance plan.
