Dr. Katie Reger
PhD, LP
Dr. Reger specializes in conducting comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for children and adolescents to better understand brain-behavior relationships. She collaborates with parents/caregivers, schools, and medical providers to inform them about the individual's strengths, weaknesses, and how his/her cognitive development has been impacted by a specific brain dysfunction. Dr. Reger evaluates specific concerns related to attention, learning, language, memory, social problems, and emotional/behavioral difficulties. Dr. Reger specifically specializes in evaluating children/adolescents with neurological disorders (especially epilepsy, but also spina bifida, hydrocephalus, brain tumor, tuberous sclerosis, and cerebral palsy), neurodevelopmental disorders (including attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder and learning disorders), traumatic brain injury, prenatal exposure to substances, prematurity, multicultural issues, and transition-related concerns. Dr. Reger provides individualized recommendations for educational intervention and/or psychological treatment to ensure the child/adolescent has appropriate supportive services in place.
