Post Master's Fellowship (in pursuit of LPCC or LMFT licensure)

Psychology Consultation Specialists (PCS) is a private practice serving the Twin Cities area that provides therapy and assessment services to all ages.

 

PCS offers supervision for an LPCC or LMFT license track-eligible clinician to provide outpatient psychotherapy services to children, adolescents, adults, and families. Potential candidates must be able to see a range of individuals with varying mental health concerns and collaborate well with others.

 

Job Duties

Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Ability to provide clinical services to a wide variety of populations (i.e. ages, populations, diagnoses, etc) under clinical supervision

  • Provide clinic services including conducting diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, psychotherapy, referrals when necessary, and discharge planning for client within the clinic

  • Compliance with clinic documentation standards

  • Attend and participate in individual supervision

 

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in psychology, clinical counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a similar field from a regionally accredited academic program

  • License eligible in Minnesota, a declared licensure track with active pursuit of licensure attainment

  • Flexibility to meet when patients are available to meet (potential for some evening hours)

  • Ability to work independently

  • Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills

  • Ability to set appropriate boundaries and limits for best practice

  • Maintain professionalism in all interactions with staff and clients of the clinic

  • Compliance with licensing requirements of your associated board
