Administrative Professional: Mental Health Practice Manager

The Mental Health Practice Manager assist in critical day-to-day operations, oversee new-hire training and foster collaborative relationships.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent multitasking and organizational skills and have at least two years of experience in a similar role. They must be able to objectively evaluate the performance of others, be self-confident, organized, industrious, and able to perceive the needs of others and respond appropriately without direction.

Responsibilities include:

  • Train new front desk staff (i.e., scheduling, welcoming clients, collecting payments, answering phones, supporting providers, etc.)

  • Provide back-up to front desk staff, when needed

  • Recruiting new administrative staff and clinical providers

  • Oversee protocol implementation and maintenance

  • Coordinate and lead training for onboarding procedures.

Requirements:

  • 2 years’ experience as an administrator or project manager in a mental health, dental, or medical practice or other clinical setting.

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining high attention to detail

  • Exemplary interpersonal skills; ability to provide high-grade customer service

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Professional and polished presence with ability to exercise sound judgment

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel), electronic medical record software

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; preference given to those with a degree in health care administration, human resources, business, or related field
