ADHD Seminars and Groups

These programs have been designed to support parents of children and adolescents diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.

This workshop will be offered every other month during the school year for parents and caregivers of children diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

It has been designed to help parents better understand ADHD and how to best help their children to be successful at home, in school, and in the community.

All are welcome- You do not need to be a client at PCS to attend this seminar.

Each session will be facilitated by Beth Shapiro, MA, LICSW and a retired behavioral pediatrician.

Sessions will begin with a brief presentation on each month’s topic, followed by time for questions and parent-to-parent support.

Topics include executive function, managing emotions, parenting tips, friendships and social skills, medication, sleep and nutrition, and planning for a successful summer
